I’m a graduate student in Composition at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where I’m currently a student of Keith Hamel. In addition, I’ve studied with Dorothy Chang and Jennifer Butler. Prior to my studies at UBC, I studied with Alexander Goehr at Cambridge University, and Joel Hoffman and Jonathan Kramer at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
I’ve written chamber music, piano music, a song cycle, orchestral works including a tone poem called Lucé Veneziana (Venetian Light), a large work for 2 pianos and percussion ensemble entitled Martellare (Italian for ‘Struck’), 2 song cycles and Auxesis for chamber ensemble and fixed media.
I’m working to include links to videos and audio recordings of the aforementioned Auxesis, performed by the University of British Columbia Contemporary Players as well as other works, including the Piano Toccata, Song Without Words, Capriccio for Five Trumpet, 5 Bagatelles for Flute and Piano, and Barcarolle for Solo Harp.
